KOMPAS.com - Regent of Banyuwangi Ipuk Fiestiandani added 26 operational vehicles for 13 community Health centers (Public health center) which has a work area with limited access in Banyuwangi.

Ipuk said, This addition consists of motorbikes and ambulances which are intended to make it easier for health workers to carry out their duties and improve health services, especially in the outermost areas that are difficult to reach in Banyuwangi.

One of the community health centers that received this assistance is Sumberagung Community Health Center. According to Ipuk, In the work area of ​​this health center there are many people who live in plantation and forest areas with rocky roads, such as Sukamade Kandangan Hamlet, Sumberdadi in Sarongan Village, Rajegwesi, and other hamlets.

"Because of that, Sumberagung Community Health Center received two vehicles, in the form of one trail motorbike and one modified health motorbike. The type of operational vehicle is also adjusted to the geography of each region," said Ipuk in his press release.

Ipuk said this when handing over the two operational vehicles to the Sumberagung Community Health Center during the Ngantor Regent's activities in the village. (Village Flowers), in Sumberagung Village, Pesanggaran District, Tuesday (25/6/2024).

“I saw firsthand how health workers struggle in making the arduous journey to provide health services. So therefore, I provided additional health operational vehicles," said Ipuk.

Meanwhile, Head of Sumberagung Community Health Center, Yulius Roni Satrio, welcomed the additional operational vehicles provided.

Roni revealed, so far, For operations, the party uses an ambulance belonging to the community health center. One car contains medical personnel, nutritionists, midwife, health promotion (health promotion).
