Jakarta, Jurnalnews – Ekosangmalam raises the theme of a clown who dreams in the video clip for his latest song entitled Rindu. He expressed his painful feelings of breakup by becoming a street clown in the video clip, as Ekosangmalam said to the media, Tuesday (2/4/2024).

Ekosangmalam got the inspiration for the song Rindu from his own true story of always being thwarted by love. Ekosangmalam released the video clip on Saturday (30/3/2024) on the Indonesia Records YouTube channel.

As explained by Ekosangmalam, The song Rindu tells the story of love that cannot be conveyed so that you can continue a commitment at the end of time. Two people who started out loving each other, bind each other's hearts, easily shaken by an uncontrollable "earthquake"., without seeing how big the sacrifice is while committing to a happy wait. But, the result is crushed without dust.

"Appreciate the sacrifice of waiting for both of you to be happy, and put aside the passing wind, because all of these are waves that can ultimately destroy all happiness,” said Ekosangmalam.

Ekosangmalam used the Tunjungan Plaza area as the location for filming the video clip. The videographer is Fandie from Radio Garden Indonesia, Fandie, and Ari. The make up artist was handled by Abi from Expression Models – Surabaya. The visuals are assisted by several talents, that is: Devi, Lenny, Jenni, Iwan Pay, Cahyo Men Kharisma, Yanuar, Vento, Rommy Vespa, Heri, Iwan Semar, We buy, ignoble, and Awank.

“The video clip of the song Rindu expresses longing for what cannot be obtained forever, because everything is a dream for "the clown". Hope everyone hears, see, and feel what I feel, because it's not easy to forget, and longing is heavy,” said Ekosangmalam.

Rulli Aryanto, The owner of the music label Indonesia Records, which produced and distributed the song, said Ekosangmalam had potential, spirit, and skill in creating. So the strongest reason for Rulli's decision to work with Eko Sangmalam. Rulli chose Indonesia Records, one of his music labels to be the home for Ekosangmalam's songs.

Rulli Aryanto completely handed over the creative process to Ekosangmalam. Rulli and Tixxy (Music Producer-nya) Happy to be directly involved and see the process from taking vocals to making the video clip in Surabaya.

Proof of one of the strengths of Surabaya musicians that can be given two thumbs up, hehehehehe, said Rulli Aryanto.
