The East Java BPBD has revealed landslide-prone points in a number of districts/cities in East Java. A number of points that are also crossed by travelers.
East Java BPBD head Gatot Soebroto said, the potential for extreme weather is still likely to occur in East Java. Therefore, he warned residents to be careful.
“So in the homecoming season, there is still the potential for high intensity rains and the potential for hydrometeorological disasters. So we BPBD East Java together with BNPB issued a homecoming map and a map of disaster-prone areas, both floods and landslides, so that it becomes a guide for travelers on how to avoid these prone areas.,” said Gatot to detikJatim, Friday (21/4/2023).
Gatot said, district/city BPBD personnel on standby 24 hours during the Lebaran homecoming period and the return flow of Eid. Each district/city provides emergency posts 24 jam, in each BPBD office.
in total, there is 19 landslide-prone points on the homecoming route spread across 13 cities/districts in East Java.
