KOMPAS.com – A series of accidents involving four motorized vehicles occurred in Banyuwangi, East Java.
The four vehicles are Mitsubishi L300 cars with license plates (number one) P 9736 VO, Honda CRV car number L 1012 CQ, Honda Scoopy motorbike with registration number DK 4125 ACH and Honda Beat motorbike number P 5237 QUESTION.
Acting Genteng Police Chief, AKP Nanang Wardana said, The accident occurred at Simpang Tiga Kembiritan, Tile District, Wednesday (24/4/2024), about o'clock 06.30 WIB.

“As a result of this incident, a number of people were injured,” Nanang said to Kompas.com, Wednesday.
According to Nanang, The accident started when L's car 300 which was driven by AR (54), Tamanagung Village residents, Cluring District drove from the west and wanted to turn south.
“When turning it, The car hit the Honda CRV driven by TT (70), woman from Gambiran Village/District,” said Nanang.
Instead of pressing the brake, The L300 driver actually stepped on the gas because he panicked. As a result, the car drove forward and hit two motorcyclists.
“So after nudging the CRV, mobile L 300 nudged the Honda Beat motorbike that BD was carrying (33) and the Honda Scoopy driven by SK (55) and Ar (3),” said Nanang.

The four vehicles, Nanang continued, Eventually they pile up and collide with each other. Luckily, the accident did not result in any fatalities.
“Driver L's condition 300 and healthy CRV, while both drivers suffered injuries,” said Nanang.
After being involved in an accident, Both of them were immediately rushed to the Regional General Hospital (hospital) Tile to get medical treatment.
“This accident is thought to have been caused by the L300 driver being careless, thus causing successive accidents,” said Nanang.
