BANYUWANGI – An accident involving two four-wheeled vehicles occurred on the Benculuk-Sraten highway, Cluring District, Banyuwangi Regency, Saturday (26/1/2019). The vehicle involved in this accident included a Daihatsu Xenia with registration number P 1009 LF against Honda Brio number P 1712 VA.
Luckily there were no casualties in the disaster which occurred at around 11:00 p.m 17.00 WIB. Both drivers survived and only suffered minor injuries.
This accident started with the Daihatsu Xenia vehicle number P 1009 The LF driven by Indrawan (20) residents of Jajag village, Gambiran District runs from north to south.
Arriving at the scene, The car is about to overtake the tronton truck. However, from the opposite direction there was a Honda Brio car with registration number P 1712 The VA is driven by Lilik Sunarti (50). Because the distance was too close, accidents could not be avoided.

The police chief conveyed, The two vehicles involved in the accident are currently at the Cluring Police Headquarters. Both drivers only suffered minor injuries to several parts of their bodies and have received medical treatment.
“We urge motor vehicle drivers to be more careful when driving. Don't force yourself to overtake another vehicle if the moment is not right. Because apart from endangering yourself, also endanger other people,” he concluded.
