AirNav Indonesia Provides Assistance and Training 13 MSMEs in Banyuwangi

The Banyuwangi Regency Government continues to build synergy with a number of parties in an effort to improve the quality of life of its people. Synergy is carried out by both government and private institutions.

This time, Indonesian Aviation Navigation Service Organizing Institution Perum (LPPNPI) or AirNav is working to encourage the economic progress of the Banyuwangi community through empowering Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM).

Through the Social and Environmental Responsibility program (TJSL), AirNaV provides funding assistance for business development in the micro sector. Exist 13 MSMEs in Bumi Blambangan receive support from business capital financing and training as an effort to increase business development capacity.

AirNav Indonesia Environmental Social Responsibility Program Manager Farchan Jamil explained, MSME actors received business training for two days.

“As an extension of the government, it wants to provide benefits to society. The hope is that one day they will be independent, recruiting local people, more powerful, and can further develop their business,” he said, Tuesday (20/11).

The distribution of TJSL AirNav in Banyuwangi is the first time this has been provided. AirNav saw Banyuwangi's hard work in developing its region. Mainly in the tourism sector, It is proven that Banyuwangi is included in the priority tourist destinations in Indonesia.

Farchan said that every year AirNav routinely provides TJSL. The budget provided this year reaches Rp 700 million. Next year it is estimated that the TJSL budget will increase by IDR 1,1 billion.

“Airnav collaborates with local governments in order to determine which MSMEs can be helped to develop. In East Java there are already two districts/cities that have experienced the TJSL Airnav program, namely Malang and Banyuwangi,” strictly.

One of the MSMEs who are beneficiaries of TJSL AirNav, Muhammad Nasihin, is hopeful, his business can grow through this assistance.

“Hopefully through this help, Our business can develop and continue to grow, bringing many benefits to small businesses and Banyuwangi,” clear.
